Most people choose our “Personal Statement writing” service.  We completely write a personal statement on your behalf using a standardized phone interview and a follow-up phone interview and revision if desired.  All interviews are done over the phone.  You don’t need to write anything!  Personal statement telephone interviews can also be done in Spanish.

All our services involve a phone interview process.  We offer a “Personal Statement edit” service where we rewrite your already written personal statement.  You will receive an initial rewrite and one revision if you so choose.  We can also write letters of recommendation and letters of intent on your behalf.  We also provide assistance with the Curriculum Vitae (CV) portion of your ERAS® application.  Please note: For CV assistance, you must provide us with an initial draft.  Finally, we have Spanish translators on staff that can translate your personal statement or other application materials into perfect English. 

We provide discounted packages for your convenience.  We highly recommend that if you let us write your personal statement, we also edit and rewrite your CV.  This ensures both pieces have the same tone.  Whenever possible, the same professional writer and physician will work with you to ensure continuity.  Please note:  If you choose a package with a letter of intent, the letter of intent will be written when needed.

At the Perfect Personal Statement℠, professional writers extensively trained in our method conduct phone interviews, write, and rewrite your pieces.  Residency-trained physicians advise and check for content only.  We leave the writing to the writers and the medicine to the physicians!

If you desire a service that we don’t formally offer, please contact us via email and we will do our best to accommodate you.  We are reasonably flexible. 

Since we either completely write or rewrite pieces on your behalf, we have found that clients have very little need for revision.  Consequently, we have limited our revision services.  In fact, more often than not, we provide “perfect” pieces the first time around!

If you discover that the Perfect Personal Statement℠ is for you, please provide payment using PayPal.  PayPal will then present us with your contact information, and we will reply promptly.  If you wish to be contacted at another email address and telephone number, please email customer service this information after payment.   We also accept money orders sent to our address listed on our contact page.  If you choose to send us a money order, please email customer service your contact information (including your telephone number and preferred email).  You will be contacted once payment is received. 

We’ve added a new service!

We, the residency-trained physicians, have noticed a popular trend in many programs:  Residency program directors, faculty, and administrative staff have been comparing applicant email correspondence (post interview “thank you” letters, follow-ups, and inquiries) and application materials (personal statements and CV’s).  By comparing the two, program representatives are able to determine if applicants have misrepresented their writing abilities.

We now offer an edit service for email correspondence.  We also offer a discounted email edit package that includes ten edits.   In order to keep costs reasonable, we will primarily correspond with you over the internet.  After payment, simply email customer service (customer_service@perfect-personal-statement.com) a draft of your email, and one of our professional writers will rewrite it within two business days.  If necessary, the writer will contact you by email for clarification.  We will also offer a revision if needed.  Revisions of email correspondence need to be requested within forty-eight hours of receipt of the initial draft.  As with all our services, a physician will check the final product for content related issues.
